PEACH named one of 25 top "2015 Women In Music" - Blues-E-News Print E-mail

22 AUG 2015 - American blues singer-songwriter-guitarist PEACH featured as one of the "2015 Women In Music" by Blues-E-News Magazine.

Blues-E-News Magazine
Volume 4, Issue 2
22 AUG 2015

PEACH is at the forefront of female-fronted blues acts performing both modern and old-time blues, regularly with an All-Star band of musicians featuring keyboardist Ken Stange (Joe Cocker); bassist Del Atkins (Pointer Sis- ters, James Ingram); drummer Tom Walsh (America; Spyro Gyra) and guitarist Jamie James (The Kingbees; Dennis Quaid & The Sharks). The Southern California-based blues- woman (by way of Anderson, Indiana) is set to perform in Europe this August, both at the Allborg Festival in Allborg, Denmark; as well as in Copenhagen at Denmark's top blues venue, Mojo Blues, where she makes her triumphant return performance backed by some of Denmark's finest musicians. PEACH is a past Los Angeles Music Awards "Best Blues Artist" recipient that has recorded with, among others, Taj Mahal, Marty Grebb (The Bucking- hams), Reggie McBride (Elton John), Joey Delgado (Delgado Brothers), Garth Hudson (The Band) and Paul Barrera (Lftfle Feat). Her soulful, seductive live recording of "It Meant Nothin'," a song she co-wrote with well-known bluesman, Keb' Mo', has been viewed by over 284,000 people since it posted on YouTube last June - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjd2ZlAAOSl. " PEACH proves that nice girls CAN sing the blues...the music seems to flow naturally out of her almost effortlessly, a natural singer (and excellent guitar player too) who kept the crowd at the WitZend transfixed. She sings without the forced 'blues inflection' that many performers add in songs just to make it bluesy. Instead, she has a crystal clear voice that was born to sing the blues," ~ LOS ANGELES BEAT

"PEACH's kind spirit and passion make for a unique blend of Blues artist/Freddie King fan. She is rooted in what is important about music." ~INFLUX MAGAZINE
